The Poser Clinic is the oldest family owned clinic in the state of Wisconsin. It was founded in Columbus, Wisconsin in 1895 by Dr. E.M. Poser. He was joined in his practice in the 1940’s by two of his sons; Dr. Rolf O. F. Poser and Dr. John F. Poser. Another son, Dr. Eduard Poser an ENT physician, came up from Chicago on the weekends to see patients. In the 1980’s Dr. Rolf and Dr. Sam, the third generation of Poser doctors, joined the clinic. Many families have chosen to come to the Poser Clinic for generations for the attention to family history, excellent diagnostic abilities and tradition of practicing medicine by knowing their patients. Dr. Rolf and Dr. Sam have hospital privileges at the Columbus Community Hospital and prefer to follow their own patients in the hospital setting.
